Breeding transport

Mantrans BV is specialized in poultry transport. Transport of rearing hens and –turkeys is an important part. Vulnerable animals, sensitive to external influences. Rain, snow, heat and frost influence the animals, the manure program AND, as a consequence, the slaughter results directly.

Animal-friendly transport

For this reason our trailers are insulated. In this way the climate of life in the trailers can be arranged and adjusted to (weather) conditions. Ventilation grilles at the bottom and at the top of the sidewalls can be opened and closed gradually. This creates a perfect air circulation. In this way the poultry is not influenced by weather conditions. Ventilators at the headboard remove hot air and supply fresh air if the cargo unexpectedly stands still.

Loading poultry in crates is perfect and guarantees a 100% clean and disinfected transport. The closed bottom avoids (leg) injuries to animals. Since the crates are piled on swivelling roller crates they can easily be loaded and unloaded.
